REVIEW:

One word: EPIC. This book was…whoa.. speechless. It’s sort of like Divergent meets Hunger Games. Different social classes are divided up by districts. I recommend Legend to anyone who loves YA dystopian books.

Day is from a very poor area of The Republic and steals from the rich to help out his family and community. June on the other hand, has grown up in one of the wealthiest areas and has everything she could ask for and a secure future. Their paths suddenly cross after June’s brother is murdered during a hospital break-in attempt by Day. The Republic’s military uses June’s thirst for revenge and has her track Day and bring him to justice. However, June soon finds out her safe world has not been what it appeared to be at all.

June and Day’s romance was adorable. I totally fell in love with Day. Day is not your average criminal. He has to steal food, money, and medicine to provide for his family, who currently think he’s dead. When June is on an undercover mission looking for Day, she meets a guy. She instantly has connection with him and as time follows, she falls for him. But June’s dream guy is not just any ordinary guy. It’s Day. Because no one knew what Day actually looked like, she was not expecting her crush to be her brother’s murderer. When Day exposes the Republic’s true intentions, June has to decide if she should stay true to the “beloved” Republic or save the lives of millions. What will she decide? Read Legend to find out!

Until next time…….
