REVIEW:

I was not expecting this book to be THAT amazing. It was more than amazing. It was…

Props to Colleen. This book had so much meaning and depth. It is not your ordinary romance book. It’s so much more than that. It’s about being able to love yourself enough to let others love you back. Colleen Hoover’s way of writing doesn’t make you feel like you’re reading a book. Her way of writing books makes you feel like you’re actually there watching the events unfold with your own eyes. The little tiny details are what made the story real, touching, and life-changing. Just the first few pages leaves you thinking, “Whoa, what just happened..” Once you start it, you’re automatically hooked.

I felt a connection to Sky. The way Colleen creates her characters, you feel everything they are feeling. I felt Sky’s pain. I felt her heartache. I felt her longing for an answer. I got this overwhelming wave of emotions and for a second, I actually thought I was Sky.  I felt like I was there physically watching Dean and Sky’s relationship grow. Even when Sky didn’t know it, Dean always there for her. He helped her cope with the pain and the heartbreak.

“I throw my arms around his neck and let him hold me. All seventeen years of me.”

I like a lot of books (obviously). But this book was a whole other level and I know I say that about a lot of books, but this book, in particular, was different.

Sky has always held in how she felt her whole entire life, but when she meets Dean Holder, he opens her heart and changes her life. Dean Holder is the definition of the perfect guy. He has a little bad-boy attitude, but underneath that is a down-to-earth and passionate guy. You can’t help but to SWOON over Dean.

“I want you to keep them open…because I need you to watch me give you the very last piece of my heart.”

“Sky, if you’re wondering if I have commitment issues, the answer is no. Someday in the far, far, far away future…like post-college future…when I propose to you…which I will be doing one day because you aren’t getting rid of me…I won’t be marrying you with the hope that our marriage will work out. When you become mine, it’ll be a forever thing. I’ve told you before that the only thing that matters to me with you are the forevers, and I mean that.”

You know that feeling when you guess what is going to happen or guess how it’s going to end? It is practically impossible with Hopeless. It left me speechless and wanting more. Every word, every sentence touched my heart in ways that other books don’t. This book will stay with you and no matter how hard you try not to cry or feel like your heart is melting, it will always have a place in your heart.

I can’t wait for you to experience this book. Whether you like paranormal, action, mystery, or dystopian. Forget it. Everyone should read this book. It will change you in ways you never thought possible. I’d love to hear what you thought of this book in the comments, if you read it, and if you haven’t…….READ IT NOW. (:

Until next time…
