Wow.. This book was so powerful. Easy affected me in so many ways. I was crying, laughing, and ALLL THEE FEEEELS. I couldn’t get this story out of my head. It didn’t even feel like a story at all! It felt so real. One second, I felt Jackie’s angst and pain then the other second, I felt Lucas’s fear from his tragic past. Tammara’s writing flows so effortlessly and left me breathless. I absolutely loved Easy! This is my first book I’ve read written by Tammara Webber and it most certainly will not be the last. It’s crazy to think that a sequence of words on pages could affect me that much, but it did. Easy touches on the subject of rape, which is not to be taken lightly and Tammara did an amazing job stressing the importance of getting help and standing up for yourself. Props to Tammara!

Easy begins with an explosion I was not expecting. College-student, Jackie, attends a Halloween party with her best friend, Erin. Deciding to leave the party early, Jackie heads to her truck. Buck, Erin’s boyfriend’s best friend, attempts to rape her. Buck almost succeeds until a mysterious guy attacks Buck and rescues Jackie.

As Jacqueline begins putting her life and her heart back together again after her boyfriend of 3 years dumps her, two opposite and equally swoon-worthy guys come into her life. First there’s Lucas, the mysterious artist in her econ class, that oozes sex appeal. He may be hiding some deeply rooted secrets and many occupations but he is undeniably gorgeous and just may be the whole package. Then there’s Landon, the class tutor who is intelligent and humorous and seems to be what Jacqueline needs right now, but she’s only talked to him through emails. I adored the cute little emails between Landon and Jacqueline, they made me smile like such a dork! Erin was such an awesome character as well! She was so feisty, but always knew the right things to say. It was almost like a deja vu moment because I have a best friend exactly like Erin!

Although Jackie has some interesting guys in her life, Buck still torments her and still attempts to finish what he started. Jackie has a tough time dealing with almost being raped and the terrible fear Buck might appear at any corner. Just as Jackie begins to ease, Buck actually rapes a different girl. Jackie has to make the choice: should they hid behind their scars? or unite as women and take action?
